H.H. REYNOLDS INVENTS THE WINDOW SCREEN

On This day, April 3, 1883 H.H. Reynolds invented the ventilator that allowed air to flow through railway cars and keep dirt and soot out. This idea came from the demand of passengers Who wanted more air while riding trains. He told this idea to the Pullman company Who stole it. Reynolds sued and won the rights to his invention. Later his invention would become the modern “Screen”
