On this day May, 17 we celebrate the birthday of legendary Boxer and Hall of Famer “Suger” Ray Leonard!


The Pan American games Gold medalist and Olympic Gold medalist “Suger” born Ray Charles Leonard Won titles in 5 different weight classes from Light Welterweight  (140lbs)to Light Heavyweight  (175lbs)

He was part of the “Fabulous Four” a group of Boxers that kept the sport relevant in the post Muhammad Ali era and popularized the speed and technical style of fighters in the lower weight classes.

Recently he was played by R&B singer Usher in the movie “Hands of Stone” a movie about his fight with fellow legend Roberto Duran.
