PHILANDRO CASTILE FUND PAYS OFF STUDENT LUNCH DEBT

It seems the death of Philandro Castille wasnt in vain after all. The “Philandro Castille Legacy Fund” a crowdfunding campaign started by psychology prof. Pam Fergus started with a goal of $5,000 and ended up raising $75,000.

Philandro, who was a nutrition specialist manager at JJ Hill Montessori school was known to help children pay for their school lunches with his own money.

Philandro Castille was murdered by police live on Facebook in July of 2016 in front of his wife and daughter after informing the officer during a traffic stop.
