CRISPUS ATTUCKS

On this day March 5th, 1770 Dock worker and possible runaway slave Crispus Attucks led a mob of colonists in Boston MA, on a group of British soliders who were chastising a boy about a barber bill one of their officers refuse to pay.  Shots rang out and Crispus reportedly took two bullets to the chest in what would be deemed “The Boston Massacre” an event which led to the Revolutionary War.
