SMART GLOVES CONVERT SIGN LANGUAGE TO AUDIO!
25 year old Kenyan Software engineer and Intel program manager Roy Allela invented a pair of Smart gloves that converts sign language into audible speech.
“Sign-IO” came about as Allela was figuring out ways to communicate with his niece who is hearing impaired. In turn he created a revolutionary product that could advance communication for the hearing and speech impaired.
The gloves are compatible with an Android phone app, can be set for different languages, pitch and gender and speed.
